The next article I’m going to write, to be published within 48 hours, is one that I’ve been contemplating and praying about. I have to make sure, beyond all doubt, that I write it not from a place of ego but from a spirit that is befitting my faith in God. Two years ago, I made the fateful mistake of claiming the title “lij”—which means prince in Amharic #Ethiopia—after someone who is very dedicated to reviving the Ethiopian monarchy found out about me and convinced me to become the chair of @Ethiopians4CM. I initially hesitated but my ego got the best of me, instead of focusing on the task at hand, I took on a title to my detriment.



I stepped down as the editor of the Ghion Journal to focus on being chair of an organization that was determined to revive the Ethiopian crown that was eradicated a month before I was born in 1974 when Marxist thugs deposed Emperor Haile Selassie. They came in offering change, they delivered carnage as they committed genocide against 500,000 men, women and children. Since you are doing your family tree that we observed a woman name "Sellas" in the chart which is the same mother name of Atse Yohanes .

Can you clarify to the viewers in this site or debunk the story that Aste Tederos was from Tigray???

As you very well know, I am not tribal about these things, and as evidenced in my family tree just on my dad's side, I am part Tigray as well as part Amhara and maybe even part Oromo given Shewanketersh Liben very much sounds like an Oromo name. To your point about Atse Tewodros being a Tigaru, all evidence that I have, including talking to my family, is that he was from Gonder and that his parents were Amhara, but as you can see, his grandaughter Wizero Semeon Meshesha, married a Tigaru Ras by the name of Gebreyohannes which is why their daughter had the name Selas.

Now, if you are saying that Selas was the name of Atse Yohanne's mom, well that actually takes a twist for the sublime. I have been hearing, though I have no direct proof yet, that Ras Gebreyohannes was related to Atse Yohannes and could in fact be his grandson. I cant verify that as of yet but maybe you know. If that is the case, well then that means Amharas and Tigarus have been fighting for more than a century over the beef that initially started between Atse Tewodros and Atse Yohannes, come to find out their grandchildren got married and had children, which means, if true, that I am related to both Atse Tewodros and Atse Yohannes. We and you come from different environment that we live in Tigray and were consumed by wars since we were born but we are trying to be fair and give credit where credit is due which is you have being providing vital information to readers on this site.Keep up the good work.

And your information about Aste Tederos sounds fair and further investigation is needed.

Btw it doesn't matter whether he was Tigray or Gonder but we must look into his contribution for his county and people.
