The recent audio from the opportunist Agengehu Teshager reveals the following:
- Abiy and Gondare elities are in a mess
- Amharas are divided and only Gondare militia are willing to stand the fight.
- Alarmingly low moral of militias.
- Amhara militia and Ethiopian army are fighting side by side but it looks they are blaming to each other on the loss in Southern Tigray
- He has no confidence to win the war with Tigray. Actually he revealed that his minimum goal from the fighting in Western Tigray is to be a good looser.
Re: Agengehu Teshager minimum goal from West Tigray war- to be a good looser!
I think you have the wrong take. First, the overall spirit of the message is the Amhara force has a winning dominance. The fact he was wondering who wrong command given to leave while the Alamata, although he attempted to cover up the neglect of military logistic supply to this front. Thus, it provides a clear feedback and is a blessing in disguise. The Raya front immediately received attention of the entire Amhara community and Ethiopia at large. The militia in this front was not under an ideal environment because of deprived of attention resulting in public outcry. As result of big public uproar, mainly from Amhara Raya, TPLF on the run in a half day fight.

You are entitled to your views. I listened the audio carefully and the items I outlined above reflect what he said. He clearly mentioned the reason for the withdrawal of the militias from Alamata, which makes sense. Once you loose at Korem there is no way to defend Alamata.
