He won!
It is amazing to see TPLF supportes and some toxic diaspora are crying foul about the election while the people who lined up for hours to vote and the opposition that participated in the election all accept PM Abiy and his PP won in a landslide.

Let's not take credit away from those who deserve it, unfairly.
Yes, Dr. Abiy as the chairman of the party and the head of the government gives the direction and determines many things with regard to how the affairs of the people are run and managed. Still he is a single individual to have covered every inch of the constituencies where the party won by his own. There are many hard working people who dedicated themselves and stood with him and supported him in achieving his goals of improving the lives of Ethiopians.
He might have brought the idea of planting billions of trees as an ajenda and planned its implementation but that couldn't have been a reality without hundreds and thousands of people who took over the idea and said and pledged to help in the implementation of the plan.
The same is true for the other magnificent projects that have been realised under the leadership of the PM.
I have been watching a number of videos on the internet about how President Shimales Abdissa of Oromia Region was always with the people at the village level of farmers in the deep countrysides part of the country, motivating them, encouraging them to work hard and overcome poverty. At one point I was even woundering about when he is actually in his office to tend to his role of actual government head of the region.
Those people who gave their unrestrained efforts to help realize the vision of the PM also deserve equally recognition and acknowledgment of their contribution.
PP gained the required experience to understand the need of the people and tend to it well by staying with the people and sharing their burdens and chearings.
We need to draw a lesson, if we care about ourselves

He transformed the once hated EPRDF into a new party and did a good rebranding job. I’m very sure most of the voters who voted for PP did it so solely because of him. Give credit where it’s due. PM Abiy personally won this election hands down.
