The Amhara are not part of North Ethiopia. They came from Bale area. Probably they migrated from west Africa (cameroon, nigeria, Mali). They are Fulani and Bantu tribes. There is a small proportion of Habesha among who migrated from Iraq ( Amara Region) just as did a significant percentage (90%) of Tigrigna speakers. The land now inhabited by Amhara speakers is called Agew Medir. These are Cushitic people. The Amhara speakers displaced Agew and stole their history. Lalibella was built by Agew and Tigrayans or Aksumites.
Agew Regional State should be created to address this historical injustice. People of Agew should be proud of their history. By reviving Agew Medir in the form of Agew Regional State, we serve justice to all African people and the world.
