Agames are a very funny people. When Meles died, they kept it a secret for almost a month. And then the Tigrayan Pope died. People began to murmur that there was no message of condolence from Meles. When the funeral of the Papas was scheduled, I remember telling a friend that we will know whether Meles is dead by whether he attends the funeral or not. Meles' demise was announced a couple of days before the funeral. You see, there will come a time when Debrits has to be presented to the public. So sooner or later, the thugs will have to either announce his death or produce him. How that will damage the Agame psyche and image is difficult to say but it will a most devastating blow.
