The Economic Alliance: The Paris Conference made small gains and heavy burdens

The Economic Alliance of the December Revolution announced its rejection of the recent decisions of the Paris Conference, due to what it described as the government's insistence on implementing the prescription of the International Fund. He stressed that Sudan did not exit from the Paris conference except with loans to repay loans, and small exemptions that are not worth anything compared to the sanctions they imposed on the country, which led to the accumulation of debts equal to four times what the country actually received during past periods.

A member of the Tijani Economic Alliance, Hussein, said in a press statement today, Wednesday: “These exemptions are only a small part of the penalties they imposed on us, and in return we lost ourselves, our freedom and our dignity, and our right to pursue our own way in managing our national economy, as they hindered our use of our resources in order for their companies to come. Under the cover of investment to plunder these resources and great wealth.

He explained that the terrible deterioration in the exchange rate of the national currency and the disastrous results were caused by the policies of dependency on the insistence of what he described as the government of IMF clients to proceed in the same way. He added, "And they rush to Paris to present the obligations of loyalty and obedience, and make Sudan pay a high price for its freedom and its right to choose its own path, politically and economically, in exchange for small gains that are not worth anything.
