The Egyptian President in Paris to participate in the Paris Conference to support Sudan.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi headed to the French capital, Paris, today, Sunday, to participate in each of the Paris conference to support the transitional phase in Sudan.
In addition to the Egyptian President’s participation in the Summit on Financing African Economies, which will be held tomorrow and the day after, respectively, in Paris, according to the “Sudanese scene” .
In turn, the Egyptian presidential spokesman, Bassam Rady, stated that the Sisi participants came in response to the invitation presented by French President Emmanuel Macron .
He explained that the Egyptian President will focus through the conference on the importance of the international community joining forces to support Sudan in the difficult transitional phase it is going through.
Radhi also reviews his country's efforts in this regard, at various economic, political and security levels.
In the context, a high-level delegation from the State of Sudan, led by the Prime Minister, Abdullah Hamdok , went to the French capital, Paris , with the aim of supporting the democratic transition in Sudan.
The delegation accompanying the Sudanese Prime Minister, Hamdok, includes 31 officials from the transitional government, according to the Sudan News Agency, "SUNA".
It is expected that the visit will last for several days, in which Hamdok will participate in the special conference related to supporting his country, in addition to participating in the conference to support French investment in Africa.
Hamdok will also meet a number of managers of major companies to discuss investment opportunities in Sudan .
For its part, the Ministry of Culture and Information stated that the transitional government had prepared a complete file for investment in Sudan, with the aim of presenting it to the international community.
In turn, Sudanese Minister of Investment Al-Hadi Muhammad Ibrahim stressed that the Paris Investment Conference, which will be held in Paris next Monday, is of great importance, as the government will present the investment opportunities available in the country, refusing that the conference is intended to be begging.
Ibrahim stated that his country will present a comprehensive offer for investment projects in various fields, including energy and mining, transport and infrastructure, agriculture and livestock, as they are investment projects in Sudan, according to (Al- Sudani ) newspaper .
The Sudanese minister indicated that the Sudanese debt issue will be raised during the Presidents' Summit, which will be attended by major countries such as the United States, Germany, China and other countries.
The Sudanese Minister of Investment revealed at the Paris conference that an agricultural area estimated at 2.5 million acres belonging to the Gezira project will be offered for investment, expecting that there will be great competition for investment in gum Arabic by international companies.
Ibrahim indicated that his ministry will announce (110) projects today, Sunday, through the ministry’s website, which will be presented to investors, pointing out that these projects are not on the agenda.
