Some ethnic groups have become extremists. They are fighting to secede from Ethiopia. Thus we should abolish ethnic fedralism and address the ethnic issue through a modern constitution as we see it in France, UK, Sweden, Germany.

There should be no ethnic group based political organisations, including Amhara groups. We need to solve discrimination of ethnic groups by having a modern constitution like in Europe. Ethnic federalism does not address the ethnic discrimination as this weakens the Motherland Ethiopia. We have become less patriotic as Ethiopians because most ethnic groups are ethnonationalists and do not care about Ethiopia as a country.

Most of the Ethiopian kings were not Amhara. They had mixed ethnicity. Mengistu was not Amhara. Haile Selassie's father, Ras Makonen was from Tigray etc. Menelik was an Oromo on his mother side. Mengistu was not Amhara. He was from the neolithic tribe.
