Ethiopia should never forget that Eritrea saved Ethiopia. If it wasn't for Eritrea, Ethiopia would be history today.
Ethiopian people and government must never forget what eritrean people and government sacrifice to save Ethiopia.

Tarik, do you think that the tplf would've been able to get all the way to the capital if, let's say, shabia didn't save their ally abiy?
i doubt it, very much. they would not have been able to get through hostile amara and hostile oromo territory, to do so. this is not, 1991, afterall.
also, Obbo Isayas & his men, saved abiy, for his own interests, it's not like he did it for free.

Agame brother Judgement1234,
The demise of your TPLF Junta has always been a WIN-WIN situation for both Eritrea and Ethiopia. It has nothing to do with one side saving the other from the TPLF Junta...we just had to destroy our common worst enemy for the safety and security of both sisterly nations.
I assure you that today is a better day for the people of Eritrea and Ethiopia than when TPLF was in Addis/Mekelle. Of course, the low IQ Digital Warriors have been going through nightmare after nightmare...
Dedebit is always dedeb
R.I.P Abay Tigray and TPLF Junta

Sadacha , they don't have to come to Addis to send Ethiopia to tailspin. Since they would have more military power more than any single entity, they can support one group against the other, and they have already recruited OLF (caught fighting along with weyane) to do the rest of the dirty work. So obviously the making of Syria in Ethiopia would have been much easier while weyanes play a king-making role. So the role Eritrea played is positively unreplaceable. We owe Eritreans big time.. and they got stanch friendly neighbor for life. That is for sure.

Well said! Mutual support is the name of the game. So credits go to both parties. If tplf would have had its way freely it might have made an end to the Eritrean state too because tplf itself have said so. Its aim was to crush both Ethiopia and Eritrea so as to become the indomitable New Tigriyan super power state. Total miscalculation as tplf now became extinct because of complete overestimation of its abilities and gross underestimation of its adversary's abilities. How can a moose on the loose underestimate the Lions on the roof.?Sadacha Macca wrote: ↑24 Mar 2021, 17:45Tarik, do you think that the tplf would've been able to get all the way to the capital if, let's say, shabia didn't save their ally abiy?

tgaa,
Tigray cannot do much to the rest of Ethiopia, unless they have allies among amara's in particular, then others whom they do not share direct borders with, i.e. the Oromo.
they lost such allies when the andm + opdo, now amara pp and oromo pp, decided enough was enough and overthrew their reign, with the coordination of qeerroo and fano.
OLF captured with them? OLF operating in a region that doesn't border oromia, nor is it strategically important for Oromos' & their movement?
Lol oh yeah, what else? OLF and TPLF made it rain and flood in bahir dar? Hilarious that you actually believe the news and lies spread against the popular OLF. Just goes to show that, many of our countrymen cannot be impartial & fair, due to their inherent negative bias against Oromo nationalism.
Obbo Sun,
Exactly. So Obbo Tarik aka Wedi aka Judgement day 1234 should not pretend as if it was a personal favor done out of the goodness of the Shabian hearts, rather, it was done for their interests, which coincided with the interests of their ally Abiy & co.
That's all I was trying to say. TPLF got what it wanted and deserved; and such is the case, all dictatorships & tyrants have their rise and fall.

300 or so OLF armed men are not going to make any difference -- they went there to get trained. The point had EDF got weakened by TPLF the rest armed group will be strengthened naturally. So the power center shifts to Mekel, and add Egypt and Sudan who are looking for an opening to interfere (that weyanes are ready to provide) things can go out of hand easily. Given the myriad of problems Ethiopia has and the Ethnic conflicts that getting worst by the day an empowered TPLF could have done much more damage.Sadacha Macca wrote: ↑24 Mar 2021, 18:59tgaa,

Ha! The OLF has enough bases/camps for training in Oromia, no need to go all the way to Tigray, not to mention it's way too far from oromia, to be worth the hassle.
The ENDF, the national army, is *still in Oromia* fighting the OLF, while the TPLF no longer exists, and the OLF is not getting weaker either... and what does exist in Tigray is people picking up arms to avenge the crimes being committed there. TPLF as an entity no longer exists, as far as what we know publicly....
Re: Ethiopia should never forget that Eritrea saved Ethiopia. If it wasn't for Eritrea, Ethiopia would be history today.
My dear friend you can LOL all nightlong but one fact remains just 3 years a go while weyanes were in power OLF existence was zilch , now they are getting stronger only for one reason that is Shimels's hiding them under his armpit . As you said TPLF as an entity is no longer , how long OLF could to push through without the help of the Shimeles's administration support time will tell. One thing is a sure thing one is down and the rest will fallow. You are the only one who can save yourself from being deluded .

TGAA,
You already defied any logic when you said OLF went all the way to tigray, a region it doesn't border nor does it have any reason or benefit to derive from it, to train, which it already does in Oromia. OLF has always had its strongholds, such as wallaga, which got stronger during the 2016 protests when the opdo/tplf admin got removed from there, and OLF administer it; read about how the oromo protests dismantled the opdo/tplf govt structure there, and how it had to be replaced by an admittedly disorganized but very popular OLF.
OLF existed under TPLF, who did TPLF blame for the various attacks and instability? OLF and Eritrea!
Now, the OPDO-PP is using the same blame game, along with their PP allies, and using the OLF as its scapegoat.
and if amara state can arm and support their armed groups, like fano, who have committed crimes on agews, gumuz, and tigrayans now, then OLF can be supported, by the same logic, by OPDO, and I do not say that they are, but the same logic that applies to fano, your heroes who are the killers of others, can apply to OLF. In fact, I think most Oromos should be armed and ready to counter any threat from the amara extremists.

While tplf-olf and sudan and egypt are all working to destroy ethippia, eritrea is the only country standing fir one united ethiopia. Dina mufti forgot this big fact
