I thought the upcoming election in Addis Ababa will be an easy ride for Ezema because I thought PP mostly has only ANDM/OPDO cadre candidates and will easily lose the coming election in Addis Ababa.

To my surprised PP fielded some well known Addis Ababan candidates who are successful and educated. 99% of PP's Addis Ababa candidates are masters and PhD degree holders. It looks like PP is bringing all its best candidates to run for the Addis Ababa council.

It will not be an easy ride for Ezema as I thought and the debates will not be that easy for Ezema as it was for CUD when debating EPRDF cadres in 2005. This time PP seem to be bringing some educated and successful candidates to the front and not the usual dumb OPDO/ANDM cadres who would have been very easy for Ezema to crush in debates.

I can only say, watch out Ezema. Don't take Addis for granted. PP seem to have worked hard to convince all these successful individuals to run for PP. If Ezema's candidates are not as good as PPs then Ezema may find itself in a difficult position.

The biggest liability for PP will be that the mayor position will not be held by an Addis Aababan if PP wins and will still be held by an OPDO member. Additionally, PP has a history of corruption in its Addis administration especially in the area of condominium housing.

Ministers and higher government officials who run for Addis Ababa city council or for the federal parliament representing Addis Ababa. Interesting that Takele Uma is not in the list which is a plus for PP.

I disagree on the fact that PP's list of PHDs and Masters are a threat to Ezema (and maybe others for that matter). The question will be whether AA residents trust PP aka OPP or not. The ones who are with the ticket of PP in Addis reminds me the the condoms of tplf aka OPDO and ANDEM. PP in addis has had very bad records in relation to Takele Uma and Adanech Abebe, both of which are not trusted by many residents. In my view, PP should best be cleaned up from Addis and stay on the periphery and within its ethnic enclave as its formation and its operation is said to be EPRDF-2.0.

አራተኛ የታሉ ኦሮሞዎችን ያቀፈው፣ ትግሬዎችን ያቀፈው ሌላም ጎሳዎችን ያቀፈው እንደው በጨበጣ ነው እንዴ የኢትዬዽያዊ ድርጅት የሚባለው። እውነተኛው የኢትዬዽያዊ ድርጅት ኢሐዲግ ነበር ኦሮሞን ሳይጨፈልቅ ሌሎችንም ሳይጨፈልቅ እራሳቸውን መስለው ኢሐዴግ ውስጥ ገብተው ትልቅ ሚና ተጫወተው ነበር ። ግዜ ወይኔን ሲጥለው ከዱት እንጂ።
