He is fired not resigned why are you keep lying always the truth comes out. He was found passing false information against the Law and order enforcing campaign and working to revive the old JUNTA hegemony again. Also he has a problem competency he does not have a full grasp of the diplomatic mission in a foreign country he was acting like a cadre and feels like he is representing the juntas interest, not the Ethiopian.

He is the same as those 15 Tigre peacekeeping soldiers who forgot why they were there in the first place. Sometimes I do not understand Abyi, Besides his goodwill, I think he lacks politics and leadership skills. for example, How on earth do you appoint Lencho Bati to be an Ethiopian ambassador a person who is a staunch supporter of the separatist OLF and OFECO? why he nominated Arkebe Equbai to represent Ethiopia the person who was bleeding us for decades with TPLF. The list can go forever. why do you have to bring the old officials again did not we have better peoples that you can choose or three is a different agenda that we do not know.

The fact that Berhane has been called to Ethiopia does not mean that he was terminated from his job. He has been active diplomat as he declared his decision to quit! What "old game" is Mesay, the servant of Issu, talking about?

No patriotic Ethiopian will quit / resign at this point in time, given all the circumstances the country is facing right now, independent of who is in power or who will come to power after the current power holders may quit.
