Did we have the Tigrai state as we came to know it after 1991 ? Did we have Oromiya or south or any of the other Regions?
The point is TPLF annexed the areas which are predominantly inhabited by Amharas as part of Tigrai before even the bogus constitution was enacted. Same happened with Metekel . You constitute an order which you seem to void in multiple occasions when it doesn't help serve the purpose it was intended for. Either you stick with the law uniformly or make amendments. You can't have it both ways!

To answer your question America has no friends but there are many countries that are afraid of standing against America. They are bullies and self-appointed world police as long as it doesn't affect their interests. The main problem in present America is through lobbyists America is under the influence of conglomerate trans continental military and technology companies. Yes, peoples choose their leaders but once they are elected they will be influenced by lobbyists. They should make lobbyists illegela. This is personal thought.

Why is it a bad news? It ain't 1980's now and almost all the country is united against TPLF. If anything, the resurrections by the West of TPLF will only cost more Tigrean lives if they are joining to kill others and, the intensification of the misery. As has been demonstrated after 30 years of unfretted access to the Country's coffer by TPLF, what we ended up with is almost the entire Tigrai to be back on to food Aid.

The international conflict vultures are there only until the money supply is dry. It is a business model that is so hard to sustain in the long run. Anyway...Good luck! I don't mean to discourage you or your folks.

You are ungreatful !TPLF saved Ethiopia from disintegration in 1991 and propelled it to be among the top economic performers of the world for more than a decade.
