The Tigrean leadership… wanted to use the opportunity basically to overthrow the prime minister and return to the type of privilege that they had enjoyed within the Ethiopian state, for the last 27 years…

The CIA produces the-world-factbook, with confidence, that it knows what happens in every country. Thus, every detail of TPLF's long list of treason, genocide, gross human rights violations & corruption is well known to the White House, State Dept, the House Floor, Senate Floor & the US Embassy in Addis.

With all this knowledge the US, EU, WB, UN,... chose to serve the TPLF as a crutch to lean on, for 27 yrs. Without their blind & sustained support, the TPLF would have been history many years ago; given how despised its divide & plunder ethnic politics has been in Ethiopia.

The difference in governance, freedom & economic development between now & when TPLF/EPRDF was in power is too obvious to be missed by anyone; let alone nations & agencies that are involved in Ethiopia at the highest levels with sophisticated intelligence gathering.

Thus, we should know that all the uproar about law enforcement in Tigray ignoring TPLF's unforgivable military siege & slaughtering of soldiers & civilians shows evil desire to derail Ethiopia's chosen path towards democracy & dev't. The fake concern is a plot, to harm Ethiopia.

Since President Bill Clinton, US- Africa policy has been misguided; giving others opportunity to outcompete the US. Sadly, the US leadership is ill informed & always follow State Dept. recommendations without challenge. Know the facts, that the TPLF is/was a Terrorist Group.
