Dr. Aregawi is telling the truth. The General is wrong but I don’t mean he is lying on purpose.
I think the town hall was too much to handle and he went overboard in an attempt to calm the folks who were repeatedly asking about hgdef presence and untold atrocities.
It also could mean he’s deeply frustrated with the agreement PM Abiy signed that no General is allowed to interfere with anything hgdef does inside Ethiopia. It probably is killing him to see what hgdef does to his citizens on his own land. That’s not easy for the soldier type regardless of him being caring or not for those who are victims.

Ok for the sake of the argument, lets say the Eritrean army are looting tigray , the question is,
1-why cant the Ethiopian defence forces stop them doing that?are they sharing the loot?
2-what could they possibly looting from a people who survive on 15kg of wheat per month?
This is a very cheap agame propaganda to denounce Eritreas positive contribution .
