I don't want to hear about negative opinions about Israel. I like Israel. I have heard enough about Israel from differnt people. One of them is Abiy's supporter - Siyoum Teshome. Totally I rejected all his anti-Israel proposition.
Here again I come up with quite different approach about Israel . I don't know but he looks matured and why don't you follow this interesting discussion?

Tarik: you are just a hater, probably a religious fanatic. Is there a thing in history that Israel did to hurt Ethiopia? Israel has a historical connection with Amhara people and the Ethiopian Jews in Israel have always supported our struggle.

well, I don't have any negativity for Ethiopians having second home-Israel! Israel came and helped us on our problems notably helping when the park caught with fire. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
whatever it is, I like Israel.

David Ben Gurion, came up with the Israeli so called "periphery doctrine". The doctrine was meant to offset the negative effects on Israel, being surrounded by hostile Nations & peoples (arabs). Those countries in the periphery which had good relations with Israel were, Turkey, Iran (under the Shah), Imperial Ethiopia & the Kurdish communities of Iraq & Iran.

Israel has today lost, both Turkey & Iran. The Kurdish communities are powerless, hence Ethiopia is the only country left as a friend. That too is now being shaken a bit, it seems.
