It is a God send political opportunity to Abiy. Ethiopians were denied national feelings and ambitions for nearly three decades. Abiy has an opportunity, if Sudan continues to misbehave, to arouse Ethiopian nationalism to a degree that has never been seen in recent memory.
As a smart politician he could use it to bury the ambition of tribal politicians here at home .
Yes, Sudan has been pushed to a war that she regrets the consequences which it entails.
