Indeed , it is game over. Herman Cohen is also admitting that the remaining Jutas are prolonging the suffering of the Tigrayans and that constitutes CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.

Abe, you missed his point. Of course you aren’t sophisticated enough to understand his language,but what he is saying is, There shouldn’t be any excuse if you are saying the war is over. He is just saying Abiy can’t have it both ways.

Oh really? :lol: :lol:
You must have gotten your English PH.D from Dedebit Collage like many low IQ Agame clans.
He is telling you, your beloved TPLF is DEAD and the War is Over. You low IQ clans out of the country are still claiming the Junta is breathing; however, people like your former master, Herman Cohen is telling you, give it a rest. He second sentences is for PM Abiy; his is telling him, stop killing the already dead Junta and focus on other staff.

Dawwit,

The war is over but the hunting goes on. There will always be policing as long as there are criminals alive in Tigray. You want to continue your crime while demanding that policing be stopped. You can't have it both ways :lol: :lol:

Brother dawwit,

I understand the agame community in Diaspora like yourself are having hard time to accept the reality on the ground. Please don't get me wrong, I feel your pain :oops: :lol: :mrgreen: .. But there is no "if' in Herman Cohen's tweet..... You would be correct if the tweet were as follows:

#If Ethiopia's federal military has taken effective control of Tigray province, the government should declare victory and an end of the war, with a firm date for a provincial election. A continuation of armed conflict can only be designated a crime against humanity.
Having said this, I just blame your Mekelle University ... not you....

Dedebit is always dedeb

Dear Dawwit: How much of a critical thinker, sophisticated or honest are you to understand the point?

Mr. H. Cohen' s points are that
(1) the Etiyopiyan Federal military have effectively controlled Tigraiy;
(2) the Federal Government should now declare victory and end the war;
(3) the Federation must end the war with a definite date for elections in Tigraiy. and
(4) a continuation of armed conflict [by whom?] can only be designated [by whom? ] a crime against humanity [why?].

You think what Mr. Cohen said means, "There shouldn't be any excuse [to continue armed conflict, or war] if you are saying the war is over." Mr. Cohen may be saying so because he doesn't understand Amharinya and didn't know that the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lt. General Berhanu Jula (?), has already declared that the war was over after they controlled Meqele, and the next chapter of their mission was to bring peace by apprehending the suspected criminals, and respond in kind against those who shoot at them.

Many of the members of the Federal military that fought in the war, (after the end of the war and the beginning of their second mission) have been transformed into law enforcing and peace keeping teams/officers. While performing their lawful duties (of keeping peace and making lawful arrests), it seems that they are facing three types of reactions from the suspected criminals:
(a) some are being arrested peacefully,
(b) others are trying to run away and hide, and
(c) still other group(s) of suspected criminals are resisting lawful/peaceful arrest by shooting at and threatening the lives of the law enforcement officers.

What do you think the Federal law enforcement officers should do when the suspected criminals resist the Feds' lawful arrests by shooting at them. The law is on their side to defend themselves, including by using deadly force (mainly shooting guns). Is Mr. Cohen calling this types of shootings 'continuation of armed conflict', and are you interpreting what he said as a 'continuation of the war'?

A law enforcement counter-shootout against a violent shooting from suspected criminals is armed conflict, alright, but such an armed conflict is not part of the already ended war, but instead is part of the law enforcement process. Shooting at and killing suspected criminals by law enforcement officers, in self-defense, while attempting to perform lawful arrests is not a crime of any kind, and definitely not "a crime against humanity."

Mr. Cohen and Mr. Dawwit, you ought not try to confuse the nature of two types of armed conflict (i.e war and self-defense in making lawful arrests) and yell "crime against humanity"! without producing any credible evidence to support your claims.
