I think Lidetu doesn't get how his credibility is historically very low right now among Ethiopians. Standing with the suffering of Tigray people is kudos but he never condemned TPLF for its treason and attack on the northern command and also what TPLF did in Mai-Cadra to innocent Amharas, instead he is crying for TPLF.
Many Ethiopians even those who somehow gave him the benefit of the doubt are now very angry at him for standing with TPLF while TPLF attacked our army. He is delusional if he thinks he can win a seat in Addis let alone become the mayor. What is he smoking? Such a delusional!
Even in the good times, both Yilkal and Lidetu parties failed to get the necessary signatures from voters to be allowed to participate in the election. This was admitted by Yilkal publicly that they couldn't get enough signatures. Imagine this was before these two were publicly siding with TPLF against our troops and anger many Ethiopians. Many people are very angry at him because of his last interview which was biased in favor TPLF. He even admitted getting death threats (see video below).
Of course death threats are not acceptable but he should understand how he angered many by blindly siding with criminal TPLF completely ignoring its crimes against our troops and Amhara civilians.
If he is not delusional then what he is really saying is that he will mix in the Addis Ababa election just to upset and anger PP and Ezema. That is the most what he can do but I doubt he can win a seat, forget becoming a mayor.

Please NOTE the fact that this so called major opposition leader making major fake claims is being funded from the backdoor and supported by the TPLF oligarchs as usual and is acting as a loyal bull dog type cadre of the tplf, promoting hate and violence against the wonderful peace loving good Eritrean people. Hate only breads hate and is no good for any one including the habitual hate mongerer . The guy should learn how to promote peace, harmony, coexistence and joint efforts in security promotion, health and wealth building for all so that all of us may become healthy, wealthy and happy for ever to come.
