This is what I wish our country Ethiopia to be and our young generation need to aspire and work for!

I think to have commented about this magnificent work in the past, after you posted somewhere.

In this case I only wish to get it replicated to many other areas as well, only one of them will not do the job, it is only the beginning of the insurmountable job ahead.

You can have one best Dr. in the world right in Ethiopia, but that one Dr. remains just one ( a drop in an ocean), the same is true for all the other professions.

The same is also true with this very much impressive human endeavor, I am glad that it happened in Ethiopia and wish to visit it, if I may can when I will be back home the next time.

You can have the best well developed village in the world in Ethiopia, but that still remains just one in the ocean of all signs of backwardness, unless it reaches to some levels of a threshold.

That is why it is not yet to sit back and take a sigh and I think time is not on our side, specially when I look at the rate at which the population size is rising and the resources are no where to keep the pace with.

Having a potential is one thing, having realized that potential is a different thing. We have been hearing about the dogma of "we have been endowed with endless resources" for ages. But still we remained one of the most backward all along and we can't feed ourselves even today adequately. There is a need to make a resolut struggle on this front as well, in addition to the other fronts.

The other important point is that your Utopia will remain what it has been so far, which is a pipe-dream, you will never come to realize a state where everybody will think and handle uniformly. We will remain diverse and pluralistic society and it is better to come into terms with that fact and stop making many excuses whenever we are told that we have been lazy for too long and this needs to be changed.

It is one thing to aspire to change something that someone feels should be changed but it is completely different to compromise on the basics in order to supposedly campaign for other issues. Those who can't feed themselves can't afford to demnad additional rights, it is important to get that straight.

Lastly, it is clear that your strategy is not a brilliant one, if you really want to achieve something, then it is a better strategy to start attracting more people to your side and you can't attract people to your side before you can guarantee their basic needs.

Hunger doesn't offer us to come at a planned time schedule.

Have a look at how we can't even afford a mere simple water boat that could have been used to develop better talents and with that more productive citizens that can also change something else after feeding itself enough.
