Historical Derg's monument in remembrance of war veteran in Ethio-Somali war, today and yesterday.

Post by Abaymado » 03 Jan 2021, 06:09

This is historical Derg's monument erected in Churchill avenue Addis Ababa. It was erected to remember for those Ethiopian and Cuban soldiers who were participated in Ethio-Somli war.
In my opinion, this is the best monument in Ethiopian history. Weyane erected statue for Melse Zenawi which doesn't look Meles at all. But in Derg's monument anybody can figure it out where Mengistu Hailemairam was in that sculpture.
Everything touched my feeling, in deed it is very great asset.
But the water fountain was removed, I don't know why. I will post the video which shows the water fountain at the peak of Derg's reign
.

This video was recorded at the peak of Mengistu's reign. The water fountain was astounding. I wish the government do everything to make alive the water fountain again. It is not that difficult and the government will lose nothing.

Easy agame's boy! Do you think you can fool us pretending as Amhara?

I love this monument. By the way this glorifies our victory against the invading Somali. I know Somalis don't like this one. On different forum or platform I know how they(Somalis ) want to degrade Ethiopia.
Well this post was intended for Somalis too. And we are again in another situation with Sudan.

Yabaloo wrote “ primitive black African baboons cannot build a monument like that.”
You were born one among billions of Africans. It seems you have been consumed, Yabaloo, by inferiority complex all your life. Have a courage and put a bullet in your head to end your miserable life.
After all your tribal fairytale is dying by the minute right now. It seems there is nothing there you want to live for.

Kichamo Komalo Yaballo Satinaelo - Just because you found yourself as the linking species between humans and chimpanzees doesn’t mean others are the same as you. For a self-deprecated mfkr like yourself, the Heavenly motto “Love your friends as much as you love yourself” doesn’t sync with your dense brain because you already hate your ape-like self. And both self-hatred and hatred to others eat you inside out. KIFU!

Abaymado,

It was the "gift" from the "Dear Leader Kim Il Sung" of North Korea to "Dear Leader Colonel Mengistu Hailemariam".

Primitive black African baboons CANNOT build a monument like that. OK?

Abaymado,

The "ye tiglachin" monument dedicated to Derg era "war heroes" was financed, designed & built by the clever & industrious North Koreans.

It was the "gift" from the "Dear Leader Kim Il Sung" of North Korea to "Dear Leader Colonel Mengistu Hailemariam".

Primitive black African baboons CANNOT build a monument like that. OK?

photo: "Dear Leader Kim Il Sung" .. welcoming .. "Dear Leader Colonel Mengistu" in Pyongyang, North Korea in 1986.

Ante geltu,

is there anything that you may show-off as your own accomplishment other than your Facebook blabbering? You consider yourself someone worth of something just because you could scribble something on Facebook and waste your already wasted life and time overthere while disparaging others who have some tangible life time accomplishments with your diry mouth. They are/were not in the clubs of your level. You seem to have been satisfied of yourself just because you could eat Ferenj pasta and then turn around and call people of the place where you come from as "Primitive black African baboons"

They said "[deleted] lebelabet yechohal", it perfectly fits your kind.

The people of the country and the international community know that Ethiopia and Cuba have been defeated in this war, and the Ogaden region was not part of Abyssinia. So, the stories and songs of Amharas will not change the reality and facts on the ground. The same is true with Oromo people who will be free or rule Ethiopia very soon

Somalia has never invaded Ethiopia, But had come to reclaim its vast territory, I guarantee you that useless Anti-Somali monument will be demolished very soon, And like Yaballo said Abyssinians can't even build a decent toilets or decent roads, let alone monuments.

The so called "AbysiniaLady " you maybe saidbare's concubine so you can stretch 😉 your skinny legs 🦵 from the tip of harer to humera but said bare had and would never have a land to reclaim in Ethiopia. YOUR sidebare has committed genocide against his own people. The Ethiopian heroes who chaised sidbarre's army will be remembered even more by the coming generations. Since your love for sidbarre's invasion of Ethiopia so colorful..let us how lovingly sidebarr teated his people in Hargessa.. Dance 💃 your out of sink dance where no one knows you...

Kichamam woyane - As to the language barrier, extend your advice to your retarded woyane buddies who looted left & right and yet they failed to learn any foreign languages. Look at your buddy, Ethoash, for example. It makes me cringe whenever I see his chicken scratches. Or, look at yourself, whose full time job is copying & pasting and twisting facts. KIFU!

You picked monuments and structures built 50 & 60 years ago, when urbanism was relatively a new phenomenon in Ethiopia. Did you expect the lost city of Atlantis to surface in mount Entoto? Kizenam, America is built on slave labor but also by Italian masons and sculptures. Today, the legacy of those handy men is all over the place. Even today, many structures are designed and built by outsiders. The WWII war memorial in DC is designed and sculpted by a Japanese artist; the African-American museum is designed by an African-British architect; modern architecture is introduced to Chicago by Germans . Likewise, almost all buildings in Dubai are designed and built by foreigners. So, what the fvck is your problem? If you prefer not to use ferenji made toilet, be my guest and excrete in the bushes just like your ancestors. I have no problem hiring a white dude to build mine.

Selam doesn’t selectively post stuff to mislead people. Everything I say is the truth as it is. See below both bad & good examples made by Ethiopians:

Defendicho,

Trust me. I am pretty sure that, at least, I can perform ANYTHING in life better than a gemed-af bariya like you... For example, here on ER you claim to be a Galla of sorts. Yet, you can barely string-together a simple sentence in Afaan Galla. Your Amharic is even worse than Ato Abba Duula Gemeda's English. OMG!

That suggests that it could've been far .. far .. more productive had poor Aethiopia spent its meager tax money - mostly collected from the poor Galla & Gudeela peasants/slaves in southern Ethiopia - on educating the real 'qamales' [apes/ጦጣዎች ] of Aethiopia!

Now, speaking of statues & the role of the black baboons of Africa in carving/building them - or not - have a look at the following major statutes located in Addis Ababa.

ALL of these statutes were designed & carved/built by the Italians, the French, the Armenians, the Russians, The Germans, The Chinese, The Koreans, etc.

Kichamam Woyane - Ask the other wicked woyane rats. One day, they call me Amiche, and another day buda Amhara, Gurage or Gobena depending on the number of KOMALS in their underwear. The Heavenly embraces all people except evil Woyanes and extremist tribalists like yourself. Selam doesn’t advocate for vandalism and destruction of monuments. It was woyane thugs that introduced such traditions by toppling Lenin’s monument 30 years ago. KIFU!

Selamicha,

You forgot a very significant statute designed & built by habashi baboons. This one in Salaalee.

Of course the best of the awful lot of 'statutes' you posted is this one. Do you happen to know its creator? .. Galatoomii.

Now, I was referring to that little goobana ape's inability to speak - or write - in the language he claims to be his own [Afaan Oromoo]. Of course, the fellow appears to be as bad in his Amharic though he told us that he is half-Amhara & his first & important language at home is actually Amharic. That was what I meant when I wrote: "your Amharic is as bad as Ato Abba Dula's English". OK? .. That is: I was NOT referring to his command of a foreign language as we ALL struggle with foreign languages.

On a related note .. Do you know/speak any other Ethio languages beside "the heavenly" [afaan weito]?? .. Do you know any afaan oromoo, for example?? ... DINQEM "YE HEAVENLY QUANQUA NA'T!"
