Listen carefully what they are saying. They are saying the Sudanese army is 3 KM from Abdurafi. That is exactly inside Sudan because the town is 2 KM from the border and there is no talk about Metema. They also said that Ethiopian farmers used to cultivate the area only since the last 20 years. Everybody knows al-fashaga is in Sudan and Sudan has every right to deploy its troops in its territory. Besides, as per their information, only 50 farmers are affected. It is time Sudan gets its land back just like Eritrea gets also its land back. We have to abide by international borders and settle these border issues once and for all. We can't occupy territories of our neighbors forever.

Sudan has officially occupied the area which they claim it is theirs and that they will never move an inch from it. They are saying fait accompli.
For this batlle, they brought the most hated forces aka the infamous rapid forces aka janjeweeds.
Sudan claims that it has all required documents which proves that it is sudanese sovereign territory based on the accord which was signed by the envoy of dagmawi menilik and his counterpart the anglo-egyptian envoy in the year 1902.
So is the situation so far.

Sudan should prove it when faced off the indomitable Ethiopian force in the battle yet. We can march into the heart of Khartoum city when the real war starts. Until then dancing in a vacant room will not make Sudan a hero or a winner.
