You should not forget that our region is where the story of humanity begun. The chance is not small that some " people " with primitive genes are still with us, in our part of the world, just like the Humans and Neanderthals lived side-by-side for almost 5,000 years.

There is no any other explanation for the behaviour of the bloodthirsty individuals who act as if the genocidal wars that they waged in Eritrea and killed a lot of people is not enough. They think in their twisted and primitive minds as though they owe us something.

Imagine a thief comes with his friends to your large and beautiful villa to kill you and your family and to occupy your property .....you and your family,servants and dogs manage to kick out the trespassers at a very high price in terms of human life ....

Surprise ! surprise ! After many years the thieves instead of having regrets for their crimes against humanity ( genocide attempt, I lost a lot of my childhood friends - some of them from Tigray and Gonder, and my paternal village alone paid 200 martyrs in defence of Eritrea ) they keep telling themselves that Mr Zmeselo took my villa !! Criminally impudent, right ?

I sometimes like to overlook when some Ethiopian brothers/sisters act and behave:
1. as if we never had our own history different than those that are being narrated by Ethiopians and Ethnophiles ferenjis,
2. as if we did not have any right or privilege to recover our independence that was illegally and brutally taken away from us by non-other than present-day Ethiopia,
3. as if our long-fought bitter struggle for independence against all odds (considering how the Ethiopian regimes were supported by a myriad of forces whose interest was not that of Ethiopia, but for their geopolitical interest, at the expense of Eritrea,
4. as if we were magnanimous enough to forgive all the crimes committed under the slogan of "United Ethiopia" believing it was the fault of their greedy and unprincipled regimes that had caused us all the suffering and abhorrent mayhem,
5. as if we genuinely believe in peaceful coexistence with all our neighbors, including Ethiopia, for a win-win situation, which unfortunately is sometimes interpreted as a sign of weakness by some Ethiopian elites.
In my opinion that is one of the many reasons why we read some Ethiopian participants in these other sites that they expect us to be grateful to them when they know we paid a lot of sweat, blood, limbs, and life to get it.
I hope they understand and accept those facts if we all are going to cooperate fully in a mutually advantageous and hopefully permanent relationship. Otherwise, the cycle of destruction and poverty may sadly continue.
