OLF can't be eliminated by sheer sloganizing of our wishes, I am affraid, even if the PM might have said it from his personal conviction and honest wishes.

While we are trying to fight against OLF, others are bent on breeding a new mushrooms of the same entity. So, to eliminate OLF, don't you think it is also necessary to fight and root out the idea that creates OLF?

I am not OLF member or supporter but I think OLF was based on ideas and real grievances of the people and as such OLF was simply a carrier of the real issues on the ground and I can say that much here. If the question is whether it failed to fulfil its mission, then the answer is yes, it failed to execute the mission properly and followed a wrong path, in my view again.

We thought we have just won over TPLF but we have already started creating the same entity over which we have just won right away, if you don't believe me, then here one concrete proof for you.

When I saw Dr. Abiy making that speech, I wasn't shocked but, was convinced more in the possible bright path he is taking us.

This Fenkel guy is already discredited and listening to him here and by enlarge continuing the wrong path is disappointing however, in the point he made about the fact that TPLF didn't hear when Abraha Belay and others advised to change course is correct; they finally ended up bringing disaster to Tigrayans in general. Regardless of what others are saying, I am of the feeling that, Tigrayans can overcome the "disaster" caused by TPLF rather quickly if they deal with the issue in a forthright manner.

It is time to face TPLF's faults and retract from their 30 plus years mostly false propaganda; listen to folks like Dr. Aregawi on where TPLF went wrong in the beginning; face the fact of how Humera. Walkiet and other places were forcefully captured by TPLF without the choice of the people who lived there. Listen and trust the documentations of አቶ ገብረመድህን አርዓያ as well. That's it! Don't defend TPLF; forget about it!

Bottom line, IMO, the country should "eliminate"/ban all ethnic parties; that will resolve most of our problems. Dr. Abiy is in the right track; I hope a transition from the evil "ethnic federation" to "administrative zones" shall happen sooner than later therefore, there is no reason to fight for land. Folks can live and own where ever, in any "state" their heart desires.
