Genetic forensics is likely to be used to identify the remains of Woyanie leaders

In the recent operation of the Federal Ethiopian National Defense Forces to apprehend the fugitives of the former leaders of the Woyanie Tigrain juntas in Worq Amba, the combined Ethiopian commando and air-force strike was so devastating, only very few Woyanies were able to escape. This was confirmed from the 1,000 line and senior military officers who were kidnapped by the Woyanie junta that have been freed in the operation and the senior officers leading the operation .
The government has not yet decided what to do with the remains of the Woyanie leaders and the pro Juntas along them who were smashed beyond recognition. The impact of the strike, in a narrow valley with limited space, was so hard, so far very few persons were recognized by two guards who were heavily wounded.
One of the suggestions made by a military surgeon is that a team of forensic geneticists be assembled to collect some of the remains and to be sent to Addis Ababa immediately when the area is safe. Forensic genetics uses flakes of skin, drops of blood, hair, and saliva that all contain DNA that can be used to identify criminals, fugitives and victims of crime.
