The Derg regime recruited tens of thousands of agame officers from Tigray and brought them to Eritrea to work as spies, and to carryout tortures and killings inside its prisons, because the regime knew that the agame suffer from a paralyzing inferiority complex towards Eritreans, which made them perfect fit for doing the bloody job.

The agame officers exterminated entire Eritrean villages by poisoning our water wells, killed thousands of Eritrean civilians to steal their properties, waited in ambush outside Eritrean banks to kidnap persons who withdrew money and killed them afterwards to eliminate the evidence to their crimes, etc.

We Eritreans will never forget the atrocities committed by the all-agame terror squad in Eritrea, and we are all saddened today by the massacre they carried out at Mai-Kadra, which reminded us of their savage and barbaric past that never changes with time.

The terrorist junta Sabur is obviously very disturbed by the humiliating defeat he had suffered in recent weeks, and his outrageous attempt to justify the Mai-Kadra massacre by recalling past crimes committed by his own agame people against Eritreans, would be silly if it wasn't so tragic. I totally agree not to be prisoners of the past and move forward with caution. And we have to be very mindful and careful of the new reality of economic prosperity because of the Economical Cooperation among the Horn of African Nations.

Eritrea had been at extremely disadvantageous position for the last 27 years. Almost all its resources were geared to defend the country and the human capital (work force know how), small industries, enterprises, professional workforce, infrastructures,..., did not improve (lag behind) and the young Eritreans have been fleeing Eritrea en masse. And those few but thriving professionals, enterprises, companies that existed were driven out into exile.

For Eritreans to compete and become the First beneficiaries of Eritrea's natural Resources and Strategic Location, Eritrea has to invest a lot into the development of the Eritrean work force, Eritrean enterprises, Eritrean Companies, Eritrean Professionals, Eritrean Institutions, Infrustructures for some time before we immediately jump into the band wagon of Economic Cooperation and get swallowed/dominated by other countries conglomerates, and massive populations.

Even in Europe, Denmark is not 100% member of the 1990 formation of the European Union. Norway is 100% not member of the European Union and so is Switzerland. All of them enjoy among the highest Per Capita Income.

Germany and other EU members already have Plan B in case the EU collapses.
