No, it's based on a common language, culture, ethics, norms, history, etc. We do not hate ordinary Amara's, but only a handful of elites who happen to speak Amharic, and think that they somehow have the right to rule the entire Ethiopia, despite not even being to build a single road or school for their OWN people they claim to love and represent [the Amara].

Nobody can stop Oromians hunger for freedom and fair governance in Ethiopia. Oromiffa should be the official language of Ethiopia, the same Amharic is given the percentage and the economic contribution in Ethiopian Empire. You can't fight or argue this .... this only stabilizes Ethiopia !

You've some point and maybe right that the non center Oromo of the further south, specially the elites among them, may get uncomfortable or jealous of the Amhara/Tigre or northerners and center in general because we had a relatively advanced old civilization compared to them and were more or less leading Ethiopia proper; mainly using a literate culture.

However, as our cultures are interconnected and the general literacy of the country over all is very low, we don't know who the "individual" drivers of civilization are/were. As individuals the learned Ethiopians are from all cultures and the illiterates are form all cultures as well. I can illustrate it in an example to make it simple.

Look at Dr. Abiy for instance, he's a bright leader and the extremists call him Neftegna already! He is the new Gobena so to speak.

Or Amhara/dikala and what have you. That is because they don't know Ethiopia's brightest of the past including HIM/Gobena etc. were just like Dr. Abiy; not what you call "Amhara" today.

Reading what Noble Amhara scribbles in this forum daily, one can tell the dude is shallow. However, he assumes the Amharic language, HIM, Atse Teodros and probably Dr. Abiy & the entire Ethiopians civilization belongs to him.

It's fine with me but, others contributed to the Ethiopian Literacy in Amharic and otherwise to get to where we are today; the fact is, the most literate Ethiopians today own the civilization if you ask me. Who are they? It is probably the "Oromos" including the mixed; that is just looking at the population and active elite participation roughly. The Amhara, was probably advanced in the beginning but, today what is called "Amhara State" is the poorest in Ethiopia. If I am not mistaken, Tigrai is the second poorest. What does that tell you? One thing is certain, the former pastoralists (የከብት ጭራ ተከታዮች)are a little ahead!

Oromo language is not the problem the problem is the pure hatred for all Amhara people the killings in benishangul and Wolega are the work of extreme hatred towards Amhara through OLF and Jawar Agents abiy can speak any language I don’t care but the killings of innocent Amhara people from Ethiopia shows that division is better then unity for Amhara people to cope with the hateful beasts. Many Oromo people consider amharas as safaris this means there is no future between Amhara people and Oromo people who kill amharas 24/7 through collaborating with TPLF and Meles Zenawi now with Shimeles Abdisa.

More lies, there are still millions of Amara's living peacefully in Oromia, and no one is bothering them, so your lies will keep being exposed.
You are trying your best to incite some kind of inter-ethnic conflict between oromo's and amara's, but I promise you, you will fail and be miserable my ''gobez tegadalay,'' friend.
You say there aren't amara elites, as if the actions of the past dictators didn't lead us to where we are now. What you do years ago, will definetly have effects on today. For example, what the tplf did in the 1990's, and in the Somalia invasion of 2006, led to consequences today: them being isolated, hunted, and without ANY allies today, in 2020.
The policies of menelik, haile selassie, mengistu, their oppressive actions, have huge effects on Ethiopia today.
I am not a big fan of abiy, but i feel bad for him in a sense, because Ethiopia must be one of the most difficult countries to govern.
So many different outlooks on that countries history, one's group hero is another group's oppressor, etc.
