Eritrea and Ethiopia can now focus on nation building and economic integration of the Horn of Africa for the benefit of the peoples of the region. With the establishment of the transitional government in Sudan and the wind of peace blowing in Somalia and South Sudan, the future of the Horn of Africa looks very promising.

The real wishy- washy Ethiopian wannabe & hero of tplf-ites like SBRTI, Bereket Habteselassie

viewtopic.php?f=17&t=181856&p=909319&hi ... ie#p909319

To Eritreans, Bereket Habte Selassie is not just a greedy mercenary but also an opportunist, known more for his “service” in Ethiopia than anything he has done in Eritrea, despite what he professes in his many writings. All who are familiar with his past know of his penchant for fame and fortune. While his history is replete with betrayals and denials, this article will attempt to show how this selfish individual took advantage of the magnanimity of the Eritrean people. But Dr. Bereket’s betrayals are not limited to the people of Eritrea; he has also betrayed the trust of his Ethiopian compatriots. This cyber dictator and his imaginary cyber party have harassed and intimidated Eritreans in the Diaspora for far too long, to be left unchallenged. Let us go back and take a glimpse, into his dark past.

On 23 November 1974, Aman Andom, a distinguished military officer of Eritrean descent, was killed in a gunfight in his home for refusing to sign on to a decision to deploy massive forces to crush the Eritrean struggle for independence and also for not approving the extra judicial killings of the individuals being investigated by the Inquiry Commission headed by Dr. Bereket. That same night, 60 members of the Emperor’s regime were taken from the wine cellar at the Palace to Akaki prison and machine gunned to death, and their bodies were tossed in freshly dug shallow graves.

Amongst the dead were prominent Ethiopian Ministers, civil servants, and decorated Army officers including Aklilu Habte Wold who served as Ethiopia’s Prime Minister and Rear Admiral Eskindir Desta, the Emperors grandson. They were all killed, extra judicially. Right after the massacres of Aman Andom and the 60 prominent members of the Emperor’s government, Bereket Habte Selassie escaped to Eritrea. Unlike the Eritrean Constitution Commission that he has written about ad nauseum, he has remained conspicuously mum about the Inquiry Commission in Ethiopia he was appointed to lead.

Menghistu Hailemeriam in his book implicates Bereket Habte Selassie as being the person who told him to,
clear the deck

and remove the former members of the Emperors government.

According to the former Ethiopian leader, Dr. Bereket told him that it would advance the new revolution in Ethiopia.

Why hasn’t the good professor, revealed his part in that sad episode in Ethiopia’s history? This person who fancies himself as a “human rights” advocate, has yet to utter a single word about the extra-judicial executions of the 60 individuals he was investigating for corruption and crimes against Ethiopia. Why is that?

Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Trades His Nobel Peace Prize for Civil War

Bobby Ghosh Nov 19 2020, 4:18 PM

(Bloomberg Opinion) -- We may be long past holding laureates of the Nobel Peace Prize to its lofty standards — the cruel cynicism of Henry Kissinger and open bigotry of Aung San Suu Kyi are just two instances of honorees behaving dishonorably — but Abiy Ahmed’s belly flop from the pedestal is nonetheless remarkable. In less than a year since his uplift in Oslo, Ethiopia’s prime minister has embroiled his country in a civil war and brought the Horn of Africa to the edge of chaos. If Abiy cannot pull back from the precipice, his confrontation with the leadership of the northern region of Tigray will reverse the gains from years of growth and investment that have made Ethiopia’s economy the envy of the continent...

You deleted your own post that referred to the effect of absolving (clearing) the full participation of the Amhara in Dismantling the Eritrean Independent Parliament and The Eritrean Federation, in the Annexation of Eritrea, in Terrorizing and Brutalizing the People of Eritrea by putting the blame squarely only on the USA.

You are a fvcking vile and spineless person willing to revise Eritrea's True history to appease the Amhara now.

You can bend over to the Amhara and get abused however position you wish to.
But We, Eritreans, will not allow Eritrean History to be tampered and revised by a spineless ሕልኩስ ለቕላቒ ሓሳዊ like you.

You Posted:

  • That the Amhara led Ethiopian government did not force Eritreans to abandon their language and impose the Amharic language upon the Eritrean People. A plan to cut Eritreans from their History.
  • That the lies by the Amhara elites such as Aklilu Habtewold about Eritreans being part of Ethiopia in the UN corridors and floors while the Eritrean representative, the Great Eritrean Ibrahim Sultan, single handedly destroying Aklilu Habtewold's lies and absurdities at the United Nations did not happen.

Satur,
You nailed the baztard. Maybe even crucified him. But, it just occurred to that he maybe an offspring of those Tor serawi and he doesn't know which one. All he knows is that his daddy was "amHarai". He could have been oromo, wellaita, or tigrawai like Issu. But, the zombie has made up his mind - whatever Issu says is his gospel truth. When Issu said "aykesernan", he rejoiced thinking all the years his neighbor's economy was growing at the rate of 11% was false. When he saw it for himself when wedi komarit kept visiting weyane accomishments, he developed this chronic jealousy and envy. That's what is causing this hysteria, vindictivness and a deep desire to destroy what they built over the last 27 years.
Now that the Amhara, Issu and Abiy (Abichu is a fake Oromo, fake Pente, fake Nobel Laureate etc.etc) are in power, what do you expect? War, destruction, economic stagnation, poverty and humanitarian crisis. All this in less than 2 years.

Will the real "Eritrea's Weakest Link", Amhara obsessed, stand up?

Hint! You're among the 14% Eritreans? According to the following study.

I rest my case!

86% of Eritreans love Amhara while 82% of Tigrians hate Amhara - Survey

By CDE

03 Sep, 2016 - A survey by Professor Alemseged Abbay* shows Eritreans don't harbor enmity towards the Amhara people.

Alemseged also gives us a glimpse into the psychological profile of the TPLF and what 40 years of TPLF "leadership" has done to the psyche of the constituency they represent--Tigrayans. Like a hidden camera, Alemseged "catches" the leaders of the TPLF and the people of Tigray in moments of unguarded candor that does much to illuminate their motives and ambitions in his 250 pages book.

Asked to name who they consider their "historical enemies", 82% of his sample of Tigrayans answered.... . Amhara (Shoa). (p. 154).

Asked if they would trust an Amhara doctor, 64% of Tigrayans said they would not. (p. 155).

There's no doubt that the survey results are more or less accurate, for it's a well known fact that while the Eritrean government (Shaebia) had gone to great lengths to make a distinction between the Derg army and the Ethiopian people, the TPLF cadres didn't make such a distinction, but rather they portrayed the Derg army as an Amhara army, leading the Tigray people to believe that they were fighting against the Amhara people.

Asked what do you consider your "Adi abo"--your "fatherland"? This question was posed to Tegaru and Eritreans. 64. 3% of the Tigrayans sample, which included Sebhat Nega named Tigray (not Ethiopia) as their Fatherland.

To 71. 4% of the Eritrean sample, "Fatherland" meant Eritrea and those who did not mention Eritrea did NOT say Hamasien or Seraye, etc.

To Eritreans, notes the author, "fatherland" does not mean the land of the forefathers; it means the land that their children sacrificed their lives for: Eritrea.

Acceptance of intermarriage--marriage outside your own caste, ethnicity and/or religion, when the Tegaru were asked what is their preference, 46% said they would prefer "intermarriages with the Kebessa [highland Eritreans] to the Amhara, or their fellow Tigrayans. (p. 161).

Asked the same question, 64% of Eritreans refer all intermarriages to take place among Eritreans alone, regardless of ethnicity and religion. Intermarriages with Tegaru became a last choice. (p. 162).

Professor Alemseged took a variation of questionnaire by asking TPLF leaders of a hypothetical soccer match up between an "Eritrean" and a "Shoa" soccer team. "Almost all evaded the question", writes Alemseged. Of those that responded, only 14. 3% would support a Shoan team. One of the few who answered was General Mohammed Yonus ("Samora"), who said, "...In the past, I used to support the Eritrean team. Now, I am changed. " (p. 166).

As mentioned before Amhara can sniff things for what they are and keep revising history as they dim fit every time a new power comes or event occurs.

But the Eritrean History that is written by the blood of Eritreans against all adversaries: the Amahara Led Ethiopia, the Dergue, the TPLF/Woyane and the TPLF Led Ethiopia will not be short changed or tampered by a spineless wishwashy to appease the Amharas or anyone else.

Hope this is clear to you, sniffer.

You can bend over to the Amhara and get abused however position you wish to.

But We, Eritreans, will not allow Eritrean History to be tampered and revised by a spineless ሕልኩስ ለቕላቒ ሓሳዊ like you to appease the Amharas.

ሰባራ SBabur! :P

Do you think you, the 14% change the future of today's Eritrea/Ethiopia alliance? NOT!

Right now, you're a sitting duck at Mai - Aini refugee camp.

If I were you, I will stop talking nonsense here and do the walking! Rather, running! LOL!
