You hear of Tigrayan pride but is there really a Tigrayan identity ?

Most prisoners of war of the ongoing campaign of rule of law do not speak Tigrigna, even it its broken form . The average Tigrayan also can not make a simple sentence in Tigrigna and fails in easy vocabulary test .
Is Tigrigna a foreign language for Tigrayans ? Are Tigrayans of unknown mixed origin and foreign to the Tigrigna language and culture ? In North Africa you have millions of ordinary people who do not speak Arabic,Berber and French properly and are forced to use a mix of the three languages in their daily life. Similarly in America you have Ebonics and English with some spanish structure used by Hispanic people which betrays their cultural origin.
The sooner the Tigrayans find their true identity the better otherwise they will continue to suffer. As I see it they are confused. Poor souls !!

the Tembienays Awris are actually Agaws that lost there language and became confused and then convinced that they are Tigrayans for example Halafe believes tembien are children of Queen Sheba but this is a laughable fairytale because tembien people couldn’t speak tigrinya until tewodros era.the words “halafi” and “mengedi” are words unknown to his Awri grandparents awri should be a zone after this short liberation war
