It is heart-breaking to see Malaysian maids and unskilled laborers migrating to Singapore to earn a living 50 years after the two nations went their separate ways by dissolving their unholy union. Today, it's very common to see Malaysian trolls harboring deep seated inferiority complex towards Singaporeans doing trash talking on the internet, and some even pretending to be Singaporeans to tarnish Singapore's squeaky clean image, in what could only be explained as jealousy of the underachievers gone wrong.

If the merger between Singapore and Malaysia was sanctioned by the UN under pressure from world super power, a lot of blood could have been spilled on both sides to undo the forced merger.
