Some ethnonationalists from Tigray are for separation of Tigray from Ethiopia. This is impossible Ethiopia is Tigray itself. Tigrayans, amharas and other ethnic groups built Ethiopia from scratches.
It is illogical to want to form smaller countries from Ethiopia like did Eritrea and South Sudan.
Ethiopians should learn from eaxch tribe and show respect to each tribe. This does not mean we should not criticize primitive tribe or crimes from The Amhara-Tigray-Eritrea ruling classes against non-Abyssinians. We should also condemns the crimes of Oromos against Ethiopians when they invaded Ethiopia.
We need to create a modern and strong Ethiopia. We need to have democratic institutions that defend all Ethiopians irrespective of their ethnicity and religion or sex. We have done a lot compared to other countries. Ethiopia will be the most democratic country in the world. We need to be careful. We need to find the middle way between ethno-nationalism and Ethiopian nationalism.
