Abiy Ahmed's government has no right to block the transfer of annual budget to Tigray as the money is Tigray's own money

The Tigray people make about 10% of Ethiopia's population.
Each year the Tigray people pay taxes to the government.
Tigrayans living in the capital city, Fin Finne and elsewhere in the country pay also taxes.
The money Ethiopia gets from all regions is put into national account (so-called national coffer)
Every year budgets are disbursed to all regions. Regions with higher populations get more money. Oromo and Amhara get most of the money as annual budget.

The federal government has no money of it's own. The government bureaucracies are financed from the national coffer, which is the money collected from regional states and donations from development partners.

UNICEF states:

The House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Ethiopian parliament approved a total budget of Ethiopian Birr (ETB) 386.9 billion for 2019/20. While the total budget has shown a 11.6 per cent increment compared to the budget approved in the last fiscal year, the increase is only 1.8 per cent in real terms

The total budget allocated to the regions in 2019/20 is ETB 140.8 billion, of which 34 per cent (ETB 47.6 billion) goes to Oromia regional state (Figure 4). Amhara, SNNP, Somali,
Tigray, and Afar regions will receive ETB 29.8 billion, 27.8 billion, 13.8 billion, 8.3 billion and 4.2 billion, respectively. Similarly, Benishangul-Gumuz, Addis Ababa, Gambella, Dire Dawa and Harari will receive ETB 2.5 billion, 2.6 billion, 1.8 billion, 1.2 billion and 1 billion, respectively.

Tigray's annual budget allocated by the federal government is ETH Birr 8.3 billion, which is US$276 million. In modern economies, this is very small and has no effect on the development of the economy. Tigray should find alternative ways of financing itself. Tourism can bring in billions of dollars . Further export of agricultural products is source of money. Light industries, textile and leather could bring more money. Tigray needs to invest more on infrastructure: roads, rails, schools, hotels etc should be built. Tigray should educate it's population which will be the source of money as they provide modern services, which means more money to the economy. Education is key to development.

Amharas pay 30 Billion in taxes every year all that money goes to the satanic “federal government” that can barely even build a school road or bridge in the Amhara region also Oromia gets 16 Billion more then Amhara region Which gets the same garbage amount of “Return” as SNNPR ... PP IS CORRUPT BAISED AND FOR OROMOS ONLY..
