Arqebe Oqubay has no firm stand on Tigray or Ethiopia. Arqebe Oqubay is one of the guys who landlocked Ethiopia. He is from Eritrea, who grew up in Tigray. He was a close supporter of Meles Zenawi, who was an Eritrean.
Ethiopia should not allow Arkebe Oqubay and the others to join the parliament or the house of federation. Ethiopia should negotiate with the people of Tigray and their representatives. Ethiopia should recognise the election in Tigray. Confronting with the people of Tigray is counterproductive for Ethiopia as the people of Tigray will fight to the end and the whole world is behind them.
