Amharas from the Amharu-settled Qobo come to Tigray's Waja town( capital of the last Tigrean Wereda sitting on the current border) on daily basis to enjoy life in Tigray and peacefully return back to their home on daily basis. By daylight these peaceful Amharas come to Waja to do business and drink the unique Miyes of Waja before they return home in the night with their guns on their shoulders for protection of yejuamharu or gonderamamharu thieves who may lurk on the road back home.
