While Dr. Abiy is promoting himself from Radio Oerator to Prime Minister, others are doing guard work throughout their lives and he knew these less fortunate individuals remain there.

Are you expecting him to go around and start pulling out hand for hand each and everybody from the "less fortunate" lives they are in?
What else should he also do?
My guess is that he worked hard to earn himself the "promotion" from what you said "Radio Oerator", whatever that may mean, to the Prime Minister of the country. Do you think he earned some privilege that others, who are trying now to distract him day and night may lacked, linstead of trying to work hard and earn themselves similar fortune?
He earned himself the "fortune" of becoming a country's leader by working hard from a very low strata at the periphery to the prominence at the center and pinnacle of state power in the country.
Even if you may succeed to remove him now, which is a very distant possibility for now, he has already made history of how hard working may reward at the end and you can't erase that history.
