I know it is a dream to expect fair election in Africa, specifically, in Ethiopia. However, I think TPLF should do the followings after its win:
1/ share the power with opposition parties
- this will humiliate the central/federal gov
2/ TPLF election would become an example of better election in the horn and might get much support from across the world.
3/ It would help excercise democratization process for the generation to come.
-From what I see, TPLF is heading towards that direction.

the main opposition for years in tigray was arena and it was banned from participating in this election.
the other real oppostion tdp was also not allowed to participate.
what one learn from this fake election is the old tplf trick of tplf election between tplf vs fake oppositions that are tplf teletafis.
whether the teletafis get 20 percent or not doesn't matter, in reality the outcome is clear: 100% tplf win.
but the brain of totats is even dumber than dedebit morons.
aye denqoro tota, always get tricked by tplf dedebits and never learn the tplf trick.

It is better than nothing or no election. The federal government should not have postponed elections. Abiy Ahmed Ali wants to rule the country without elections. Abiy Ahmed and Eritrea's leaders are trying to uproot TPLF, a group that overthrew Mengistu Haile Mariam through armed struggle. The brainless here are Abiy Ahmed and the stooges of Eritrea. Arena or PP or TPI are part of the Eritrea stooges in Ethiopia and should not be allowed to take part in the election. We do not know what happens after the election. The partys elected to the parliament should being democracy t332o Ethiopia by forcing Abiy Ahmed and his government to resign as they have0 no legitimacy.

EthioRedsea, typical ugum. No logic to your argument. Your idiot leaders have been in power for 27years with fake election what makes them better when they are too old at a stage of dementia. Ugum always suffers from inferiority complex especially when it comes to Eritrea.

Arena would not have gotten one vote from any Tigrayan since they allied with Amhara and Arena never banned, this the typical Amhara lie as usual.
It has been decided among all parties and election board the winner takes 80% of the seats and the remaining 20% seats will be shared among the loser parts and will be divided per their number of votes. So, the 20% seats are allocated to the losing parties and they will have a seat in the house of parliament.
As far as fairness, Tigrayans are very happy including all participant parties the way the election board which are more to the opposition parties than woyane, equal air time on national TV, equal money allocation for their campaigns and totally independent poll observers in every polling stations. All parties feel they will be the winner since they agreed to plant a true democracy and all the institutions in Tigray to function as true new brand democracy in Africa, this election is a model for future Tigray nation than just to win one party but open the road for Tigrayans to be led by true representatives of their own choice in the future. Tigray is totally in a different model to the rest of Africans than just winning. Soon most or all the ethnics of kilils will adapt the Tigray model to operate in their respective nations.
