Even the legendary rebel who fought against Haileselasse, Derg and weyane, Minister Mahmood Mohammed Gaaz, chairman of ARDUF, says Afar and Tigray had the longest shared history, and he stressed, only Afar and Tigray had created a high level economically, politically and socialyl unified system that was established since Axumite era.
So Tigray has the right to help Afars capture the Afar Sea coast and unify all Axumite era's historic lands of the Afars.
