The president himself once said, his detractors come from a single part of region  :
Prove it! When did he say this? That sounds like a fabrication, to me.

Asmara,

Racism and biggotism are different from regionalism. Eritreans live in a very secretive culture. EPLF and its culture were way behind in dealing with regionalism. Regionalism is not new. As you mentioned above, we need to be open to each other. Regionalists try to take the higher moral ground in hiding their identiy. For me, that is every sign of disrespect. If you ask me who I am, I will very openly tell you who I am. If you respond in kind, I would have nothing but respect for you. Now, regionalism is getting worse. Some Eritreans feel that the system favors a particular group over theirs. If the government is dominated by some particular group, then naturally, regionalism would intensify. The president himself once said, his detractors come from a single part of region  : Now, if you belong to that region, your blood would boil for sure. It is the feeling of unfairness that aggrandizes political regionalism. Social regionalism is everywhere. People like to intermarry with what they feel are their own kind. I don't have a problem with that. If the girl loves me too bad.   But, what democracy provides is equality. That lessens if not eradicates regionalism.
His eminence Uncle Deqi is ready to provide evidence.

Your eminence,

Thanks for providing the evidence. Brother Zmeselo, though he comes out as a gentle man, he is the most manipulative poster on this forum. Zmeselo is not fooled. He knows really well the system he is supporting,

Hardliner:
People shouldn't be obsessed from which hole a minister hails from but to what he brings on the table. If you are obsessed that a certain minister should hails from x, y or z, you are displaying a typical backward clannish mentality. Our Somali brothers were fighting in their "Parliament" because they were bickering and fighting about allocation of ministers instead of the real issue which is affecting them. The same with the American Negro. For instance, Instead of demanding Joe biding to reform the prison system of America which is affecting the American negro more than any ethnic group in America, the Negros ultimate demand to Joe Biden was to have a black woman as running mate which is very easy for Biden to fulfill. it is symbolic but it will not make any fundamental change for black Americans the same way as it didn't when Obama was president.

Deqi,

I was not talking about myself. I wish the best person to serve regardless. In Africa, for the most part, ministers are elected for their loyalty. Most of them are not even worth occupying their positions. I was talking about the people. People like to see representation. That also has to be taken into consideration. Advanced countries do that all the time. Dictators in Africa are appointing their children and wives to higher positions. That is how bad the dark continent is.

Deqi,

American politics is complex. It is not that simple. African Americans do not have shortage of qualified leaders. They have been denied for centuries though. The Obama government has given hope to that community. There are a lot of white Americans who would never vote for any black at all. Blacks make up only 10% of the population. Thanks to the democratic party, they have been represented fairly. Actually, blacks have paved the way, many opportunities for other minority groups as well. From what was available, I think Harris is the best choice. She seems to know how to communicate with Tramp voters.  This opportunity may pave the way for females to run and win the presidency in the near future. Don't put her down yet.

Agame, please try to end the mass migration and suffering of your Tegaru youth. Talking about Eritrea doesn't alleviate the suffering of the over one million Tegaru refugees languishing in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, nor does it cure your inferiority complex towards Eritreans. Focus on your own Tegaru's exodus of Biblical proportion!

Thnaks to the trash amiches like you, we have been outclassed by the agames. They just ignore you. Stupid ho---mo.

Zmeselo is low ranking Cadre who is here 24/7 to spread the narrative of the morally decayed regime.

It's very easy to support a govt if it doesn't affect your daily lives and that of your kids.

Deqi,

Once, Zmeselo was absent from this website for a long time. His was replaced by MaTit. But, MaTit, other than posting news, he was practically an idiot. At one time, MaTit was campaigning for Isayas to be the king of Eritrea.  Ironically, I kind of asked him if we really fought and lose our lives to replace king Haile Sellasie with King Isayas. That comment shut him up. He was very ineffective. Later on, Zmeselo appeared and MaTit disappreared. Zmeselo came and did the same thing in addition to appearing as a democratic person. One time, he even acknowledged that every Eritrean has the right to a free speech. He kind of fooled us a little bit. For some time, I thought he was either Yemane Ghebremeqel or someone who worked under his supervision. Take my word, he is here to represent PFDJ. He knows right from wrong. He just chose to ignore the price of blood our martyrs paid to bring an independent and prosperous democratic Eritrea to our people.
