We need to revive Geez and make it a continental language ( lingua franca) for Africa.
We need to make Africa youth be proud of their past history.
Ethiopia should start teaching children at elementary school level as a subject. It should be a subject for examination. Geez is the mother of all semitic languages, which means it will be easier for children to learn Arabic, Hebrew and other semitic languages, which makes Ethiopians a global player in trade and science or politics/diplomacy.
From Ethiopia we can expand the Geez language to other African countries. Ethiopian Geez teachers could work in schools across Africa to teach children Geez until African schools other than Ethiopia have trained their own teachers.
There already online courses and some schools in Addis Ababa are already giving courses at Junior High School Level, which should be supported.
This might help to liberate Africa from cultural imperialism which the colonial powers of yesteryear have imposed on Africa. This could have enormous economic advantage as children learn their own language and discard foreign langues like French, English and Spanish.
Further on Diaspora Africans might get interested in Geez, some of whom are already doing. This brings a huge market for Geez literature and language. Besides it could get developed as a global language.
Geez is pure as a language as it was little used as a political language. It was the official language of Ethiopia for about 1000 years. There are few negative expression compared to Amharic or Tigrigna or English.
