Abiy Ahmed Repeatedly Tells that Oromo is Accomodative (aqaafii newu): maaqef be Amharanet weyis be Oromummaa?
Abiy Ahmed is trying to decieve the Oromo. He repeatedly tells that one of Oromo’s values in Gadaa system is “aqaafinet” = accomodativeness. Thus he accuses Oromo nationalism and the struggle for Oromo national interest as if they are against this Oromo value. But the question, which Abiy and co don’t want to answer is: accomodative in Amharanet or Oromummaa? Was Gadaa system ready to accept Amharanet and rever Amharinga instead of respecting Oromiffaa and promoting Oromummaa? Abiy and his EPP followers are doing every thing under the sun to keep the hitherto dominance of Amharinga and Amharanet, which is camouflaged as Ethiopiawinet. That is why they are persecuting genuine Oromo nationalists in OFC and OLF. They try to confuse us by talking about promoting ethnic federation. But, fact is, that there is clear difference between EPP’s federation and OFC’s federation. EPP wants to keep TPLF’s dictatorial federation with Amharigna’s domination, whereas OFC and OLF are trying to foster democratic federation led by Oromiffaa and Oromummaa. In democratic Ethiopia (Great Oromia), it will be natural for Oromiffaa and Oromummaa to lead, because of the demographical advantage the Oromo people have. To further maintain the existing domination of Amharanet and Amharinga, the existing dictatorial federation should continue. That is exactly what Abiy Ahmed as a new servant of the Neo-naftagna is doing! He wants that we be accomodative in Amharanet camouflaged as Ethiopiawinet. But, the true accomodation (aqaafinet) of the Gadaa system happens in conserving our true self, i.e Oromummaa, not by converting our identity to Amharanet, which is at the moment equivalent to Ethiopiawinet.
