War will only start if pp or tplf feel like losing support from the people and whoever feels losing support will realize that not only lost support but will also loose the war.
Otherwise, it serves both parties to keep the statues quo for the longevity of their dictatorial regimes that they can live by blaming all the ills and bad things happening in their domain to the other party.
If no external enemy to blame, you’ll have to own the failure of leadership and step aside for capable leaders to lead the people to the promised land.
Change to the way Abiy is governing needs to happen fast, if he intends to remain a pm, because all the people who supported him initially including me are coming to conclusions he is incompetent to do the job. How can he allow terrorist organizations roam in the country and kill innocent people? How can he allow terrorist abduct college girls and get away with it? The list goes on and on...

Afediyu,
Are you Tigrayan ? Are you pro-Agazian? Anyhow, Ethiopia is at cross --roads. TPLF has nothing to lose, the worst that can happen to TPLF is, deja-vu, play the guerrilla again. Abbiy has a huge homework, His political base is compromised. He can not play dictator and suspend the constitution, that would be the beginning of the end of him. Ethiopian politics is very complex. He can not face elections, the possibility of losing the election is huge. He needs to buy time. War is not in his favor. He can apply economic pressures on the TPLF. That is his best route to redemption.

Axumenzera, stop being an a*ss, you coward agame.
tplf if push comes to shove can go back to be a guerrilla fighter, said you.
Are you out of your mind.
Wasn't woyane hiding in its entire 17 years as a guerrilla fighter inside Eritrea, sheltered, trained out of fear that mengistu would have ate it as a snack.
Just tell us where is the tplf gorilla gonna be stationed?
When the Ethiopians chase your coward, filthy a*ss, this time unless you are stupid and want worse punishment from the Eritreans, you won't dare to cross Eritrea's border to hide in your old fox holes.
Where in the world does a fighting front fights its entire 17 years to free it's own region or country fight being inside another country, unless it believe that it will hide under the umbrella of that country, clean its weapons, carry its waters and cheer for that country for personal gain?
That is tplf did, you a*ss wipe.
You cowards woyane have no where to hide now. You will be squashed to death from all sides if you are stupid to shoot a bullet which crosses your enemies.
With all this gurra, knowing that Eritrea and Ethiopia are giving deaf ears to your concern, why are you scared and claiming that both countries are going to attack you?
If you believe so, and you also believe you will survive if you dare one of those countries, why just don't walk in and destroy one or both countries? What is your purpose parading with coward, untrained, undisciplined poorly armed agame vagabonds?
Put up or shut up and die in peace.

Cigar,
You are confusing personalities. That was me who said, TPLF can always play the guerrilla fighter game again. BTW, you seem to speak for the Ethiopian government. Don't forget Tigrayans are Ethiopians. If the Eritrean government has decided to attack on its merit, that is possible for the TPLF said, it will never sit idle with Isayas at the helm in Eritrea again. Do they mean it, I don't know. All that show they were doing could be geared toward Isayas himself. But, I know, if Isayas is threatened, he will not sit back. Don't expect Abbiy to join him. Isayas will do the work for him. I think Abbiy will impose economic embargo on TPLF. That will put a lot of pressure on TPLF. I don't know what Isayas will do. But, he declared game over long time ago. I think the tension is more between him and TPLF.
