I am responding to legitimate and scholarly comments but not to the insult and illiterate comments such as by the so called Amhara elites.

Thus, I appreciate your comment because it has general truth. Nevertheless, it lacks specific reality. Abiy is neither heavy handed nor subtle warrior. Should that be, he shouldn't have submitted to Eritrean regime for help to fight citizens in his empire. So you are seeing Eritrean soldiers wandering in Oromia. When it come to reality, he is peeing when he saw Tigraway ready to go and Oromians coming on the scene. If he can be heavy handed, why he is in the skirt of his wife that is bullet proof? He knew he have nowhere to hide.
