Tigray has a very interesting history. It has been always a reliable ally of the west due to Christianity.
Tigray is 98% Orthodox Christian. Amhara are also pro-western and like Tigray. The only problem in Amhara they are ruled by muslims. Probably 30% of the amhara population is muslim, which by definition is anti-america and anti-Europe.

The disadvantage of Tigray is, it is landlocked and it's population is about 10 million.

Tigray as also very good relation with Asians, middle eastern countries etc.

No No No... Amhara is only 2% Muslim. Even the statistics show the amharas who live all across Ethiopia are all Christians . The only Muslim Amharas are Bete Amharas 4 Million of them all have Christian Orthodox Ancestors & Blood and we’re forced into Islam by Ottoman-Arabian trained armies ! 95-99% of Amharas are Judaeo-Christians in Ancestory. Amhara works with Israel more then Tigray because we have Gondar the IDF has many interests in Gonder. Once Dr. Temesgen Tiruneh requests them they will come instantly Gondar is Israel and Israel is Gondar of Simeon Tribe. Amhara has Good relations with Orthodox Russia. It was Amharas who protested for Russia’s Interference in Ethiopia’s Military unfortunately Russia mistaken Amhara as Ethiopian and helped Arat Kilo
