Why do you think TPLF will not be happy? Who started the project? Who implemented most of the project? Who opposed Abiy Ahmed when he made grave mistakes during the negotiation with Egypt? Do you know PM Meles was killed by Egypt because of this project (read Prophet Daniel Abera book). I personally wrote several articles under " Ermias Hailu" until recently , you could Google and see for yourself ! Though PP and TPLF have various political differences , but with regard to the GERD TPLF has superior track record and uncompromised correct position!
