I hear you. Honestly, you make some sense. TPLF have been an obstacle. But I have not heard of any real attempts by Abiy to make them comply with the EEBC decision.

How about Isaias and Yemane Gebreab saying the border issue is not a priority now that they are buddies with Abiy? Millions of Eritreans sacrificed for the past 20 years because of the border issue. How can it suddenly NOT be a priority? Don't you smell cheap opportunism on IA and YG's side?

He had no capability until now to make them comply with anything, even to reverse their decision to hold unilateral elections. The most important aspect is that HE complies, as a head of State!

Hacaaluu was prominent in Oromo music activism. A few months back, I posted some youtube videos of his. His performance in Millenium Hall a few weeks before HMD's resignation was the last straw that broke TPLF's back.

A few days before his murder, he criticized Abiy in an interview with OMN. In the same interview, he said Menelik came on a donkey to Oromo land and stole horses from an Oromo farmer.

My guess is the pseudo-Andnet camp led by Abiy and favoured by PFDJ might have had some scores to settle. And our dictator would not hesistate to interfere in a neighbour's business. Anyway, it's just my opionion.
