Why is East Africa poorer than West Africa, for that matter poorer than all other regions of Africa? Is it unwarranted pessimism to state that United East Africa is impossible until dooms day? Is it because the geographical unfortunate of being neighbor of several Arab countries and being frequently haunted by irreconcilable at time violent values diffused from Arabs beyond the red sea?
