While many here have seen my stance on North (invasion, domestic ptoblems) always arise from North. This is the reason I oppose the actions of these North since 50 years, why? Because, even though they are supported by outsiders, the problem is not invasion from outside but on 0 reason, north domestic. If it was for good intention, I would in fact support fully the strength of tigray and eritrea because, it always face historically invasion from outside. The domestic issue from this region they created is because, the problem of foreign invasion may not have gone away since Italy invasion, foreign elements must have remained within these regions to create it as domestic problems. Common sense tells us that then, considering these regions are staunch Ethiopians, Ethiopia should have rather strengthen these regions militarily and economically, in order to protect it from foreign invasion as well as their messengers like today working to disintegrate ethiopia. This doesn't mean, it needs to be strong to control ethiopia nor, the debub should be strong enough to control ethiopia. control, I mean to impose its will on others. The fact that the central government being in central Ethiopia is perfect because power would be distributed to the rest of Ethiopia when true democracy flourishes in Ethiopia. In good faith what I am saying is if we are to live as democratic and strong society, we should strive towards as such without affecting one another as well as each regions require its project as geopolitics affect differently the regions and is not one size fits all. Therefore, in reality, Eritrea or/and tigray, require strong military, unfortunately, this strength, they use it against Ethiopians instead of foreigners who could come to invade.

how it is benefiting Tigray

Tigrigna speaking elites were streached out all Ethiopia during TPLF heydays. This led to brain drain away from Tigray. It led to corruption the backlash for which endangered Tigrigna speaking elites/ Tigray. So the south leaders stepping up helps Tigray focus on Tigray and attain better relationship with others.

I truly don't agree with this groundless elite theory. Honest conversation is a major step toward the solution. To begin with, የትግራይ ህዝብ የሞቀች ጎጆው ኢትዮጵያ እንጅ ትግራይ ክልል አይደለም። ወያኔ በትግራይ ህዝብ እራሳ ላይ ነው ጎጆውን ያፈረሰብት ብል የተሳሳትሁ አይመስለኝም። I don't know your perspective, but it is the rebels, cadres and ethinocrats that have taken the Tigary people into hostages.How intelligent and educated is one who says TPLF and Tigray people are one and the same - never even identical twins are? I will say it gain, Ethiopia is the warm homestead of the Tigray people - sabotaging her health and sovereignty far more detrimental.

I don't disagree. The only problem with your outlook is you are ahead of many elites that advocate ethnic based organization. I'm with you but you are not addressing how to bridge the gap between your outlook and their outlook. I do address it this way: you should allow them time to come around to your position. It's about timing. In other words, support them by getting out of their way. Think about what would be the worst case scenario if you let them do what they please. Trust me they care just like you care. But when you dismiss them, they dismiss you and nothing improves.

ያባ ዱላን እና የኦሮሙማ አጅንዳን ለመቃወም የዎያኔ አሽከር የሆነ ጉራጌ አንድ አየሁ ። የጉራጌ ሕዝብ ትክክለኝ አቋም ወይ የዎያኔ ሕገ መንግስት ተሽሮ ኢትዮጵያ ኢጎሳዊ በሆነ ፌዴሬሽን ትዋቀር ፣አለያ እንዳንዱ ጎሳ ሆነ በሄር የራሱን ክልል ይዞ ከሌላው ክልል እኩል ሆኖ ይዋቀር የሚል ነው ። አባዱላ የጉራጌን ዋና ከተማ ሆሳዕና ሊወስድ አይችልም ። ጉራጌ የራሱ አገር አለው ። ከምባታ የራሱ አገር አለው ። ሃዲያ የራሱ አገር አለው ፣ በቃ ይህን ለመሆን ጉራጌ የዎያኔ አቃጣሪ ሊሆን ከቶም አይገባል ።

I have a very serious question. Can you please tell me why some gurages have oromo names. I know gurages with names like Gada, Fayisa, Gamachu etc. As far as i know gurages are the only people who uses oromo names. Is there a historic background for it? The other thing is that Meskel (not as related to christianity) celebrated by both gurages and oromos. WHY?
