ETHIOPIA AFTER SEPTEMBER 30

Without ifs and buts, the term of office to ALL "elected" officials, parliament members, as well as administrators of the 9 regional administrations (ክልሎች) will come to an END as of September 30th ... until a general election was held and new leaders elected.

In other words, Dr. Debretsion's term as president ክልል Tigray, as well as the terms of the other 8 regional administrators will expire by the end of September.

That's according to the 28-year-old constitution that was written by non-other than the TPLF itself.



However, the constitution guarantees NON-ELECTED leaders and officials to remain in power.

This means, PM Abiy Ahmed and his cabinet ministers, who are non-elected members of the gov't, shall remain in power ... until the next election was held.

As long as the threat of COVID-19 remains high in Ethiopia, there will be NO ELECTION.

This explains why the TPLF was scared to death and acted like a rabid dog. The recent threat by the TPLF to conduct an illegal election in Tigray before they were kicked out of office (September 30) is part of this game.

Long story short, TPLF will be out of office till the next election was held and until that happens, an unelected official, i.e. "Prosperity Party" will administer Tigray as a caretaker.

I know that is not going to be an easy task but whatever happens, Nebiyu Sehul Mikael from Enderta will be the care-taker president of ክልል Tigray. That's the end game.

PM Abiy indeed knows how to skin a cat alive.

TPLF created this ugly precedent and Meshrefet now abuses it.... meshrefet always copies and pastes TPLF's undemocratic and unconstitutional steps be they those domne wittingly or those done unwittingly. To this end this monkey-like copycat deviant created several vice president positions, not in one but in in many Kilils, after firing the legit ones ; Oromia, Somali Kilil, Benishangul , southern Kilil, Gambela, etc, now have fake vice presidents and not presidents.
