With all due respect, Lake Ashengae is not in Tigray. It’s in north Wello, which is Amhara region. There is no Tigray after Maychew. Period!!!

Sometimes I don't understand you, Sun. You cut out the first part of my statement and then you ask me what I mean by what you highlighted.

Anyway, to make it clearer to you, my statement is based on Halafi Mengedi's claim that

And I was informing him (or the reader) that "Bahri Tigray" or Tigraiy's Bahri/Bahr is not Red Sea but Lake Hashengee/Hashenge/Ashenge, which was also called TsaEda Bahri (ጻዕዳ ባሕሪ) in Tigrinya, meaning "White Sea" in English. Some times you get carried away with your perceptions. Just because you said something you desire your statement to be taken as truth. You are trying to distribute fake information, and it definitely is not going to work for you. You are trying to create Bahri Tigraiy, and you could but it is not going to be the Red Sea. Bahri Tigraiy is not red. It is the White Sea.

Bahri Tigraiy is called Lake Hashengee.

No matter who possessed or defended the Red Sea in the past, it is now Eritrean and not Tigraiy's. That is the fact, and legal. You cannot show us any proof that Tigraiy ever existed for 5000 years. Tigraiy is south of the Mareb River and west of the Dankalia region and east of the Takkeze River. And Tigraiy, as a social or political unit, is different than the Aksumite Kingdom or Empire. Please don't confuse yourself or confuse others.

There are Tigrawian ethnic groups in north Tigraiy--i.e. south of the Mareb River--and north of Tigraiy is Eritrea and every ethnic group in Eritrea is Eritrean. Ginbar Weyyane Tigraiy has tried hard to fracture and divide the Eritrean people into several groups and has failed miserably. ShaEbiyya was not an ethnic organization, did not fight against any particular ethnic group anywhere, and fought for the independence of Eritrea as a whole as well for the implementation of its National Democratic Program.

Not the Red Sea, but TsaEda Bahri (or "Bahri Tigraiy" if you want to name it that) is Tigraiy's Sea. It is 20 sq. Kms. big, and that all yours.

The new generation of Tigrayans must know that Tigray is Red Sea aka "Bahri Tigray" Tigrayans fought more than the so called Eritrea worshipers to control and safeguard Bahri Tigray and it is ours for Tigrayans including other ethnics live with us. During the struggle the Muslim ELF were killing the Tigray ethnic in north Tigray but the remaining Tigrayans came and evicted them from our land and Shaebia was to organize and mobilize the Tigray ethnic and fought all together and won against Amhara. The south Tigray led by Meles secured north Tigray independent and we refused to take the eastern part of Afar aka Asseb port when the Americans, British and the rest of EU pushing Meles to do so knowing Bahri Tigray must remain in the hand of Tigray ethnic the way used to be over 5000 years. The north Tigray does not have any right to do what ever they want about Bahri Tigray, the remaining Tigrayans including all ethnics and Agew have equal right for Bahri Tigray since they died with us to defend it. Bahri Tigray is not theirs but ours for all Tigray ethnic and other ethnics.
