Eritrea has nothing to do with Tigray Ethiopia - it belongs to Beja of Sudan, Saho, Afar, Benamir!

Most Tigrigna speakers in Eritrea are from Ethiopia. They are immigrants and have no roots in eritrea. The Beja, Saho, Irob and other nomadic tribes have been inhabiting in Eritrea. Thus the tigrigna speakers are emigrants and slaves of the Ben Amir or Beja tribe - that is how they act also in real life. Tigrigna tribe of Eritrea feel inferior to Benamir and Beja tribes.
Saho and Beja tribes have been using the Tigrigna tribe of Eritrea as slaves. They capture and sell them for kidney harvesting.

TesfaNews,

Hammasien use to be called hamyt hussien, the lady was hussien’s mother in law. She was tigre from nabra tribe.

Then the new comers changed it to Hammasien. There is no tribe called Hammasien, you can ask your parents or grandparents.

I asked my grandma and she’s tigre from Hamyt Hussein, there was never a clan known as Hamassien ever in history they are Agames crusaders

Hamasien is a creation by Esayas Afwerki and Hatse Yohanes of Agames the beautiful city of Asmera was established by Tigrinyas as they evicted native Tigres, who compose About 31% of today’s Hamasien we will be majority soon

TesfaNews,

No, I said the name came from her. They were at a wedding and guests asked who’s that lady, and one that knows her replied she’s hamyto n hussien (mother in law of hussien). So the town came to be known as hamyt hussien. And over time the immigrants changed the name to Hammasien.

The town was renamed after her. The lady is not from hamyt hussien, she is from nabra and the nabra tribe still reside in Asmara but in minority, majority now live in Sahel and Semhar. Hopefully that’s clear for you.
