Since almost every group is fairly or unfairly blaming the TPLF, lemme try to do an impartial analysis.

Here are the list of wrongs of TPLF:

1. Selfishly pushing the OLF out of the power-sharing arrangement that was setup after the downfall of Derg

2. Harassing and liquidating a myriad of ethnic nationalist parties that were popular in the tribe they claim to represent. To name a few: ONLF and Afar parties

3. Not extending a hand of reconciliation to supporters of the Derg regime

4. Readily responding fire with fire when Isaias sent tanks to Badme and all too happily using this opportunity to dispossess Eritreans of their belongings and deport them inhumanely

5. Slowly but surely narrowing the political space of journalists, activists and opposition parties.

6. Invading neighboring Somalia at the behest of Western Powers

Now for a list of the good things the TPLF did:

1. Helping to introduce the concept of federalism, free press and liberal democracy however limited in scope and implementation it may be

2. Helping other indigenous languages, apart from the national language, to foster in a conducive environment

3. Helping to grow the economy at a good rate of 8% for some successive 10-15 years.

4. Starting to build the Grand Renaissance Dam

5. Building universities in all corners of the nation.

Hope I have tried to be as fair as possible.
